Pregnancy is the perfect time to prepare both your body and mind for labor and birth. Prep4Birth™ is a 3-hour, evidence-based class that combines targeted fitness and comprehensive birth preparation — giving you the tools, knowledge, and confidence to approach your birth feeling strong, informed, and ready.

Class is part prenatal fitness and part childbirth prep: you'll learn how to use birth balls, peanut balls, and CUBs (Comfortable Upright Birth) to promote comfort and progress during labor — whether you're planning a vaginal or cesarean birth, while learning movements and exercises that strengthen your core, pelvic floor, and full body to support a more comfortable pregnancy, optimal fetal positioning, and a smoother recovery after birth. Exercises will be taught in a way to bring home for daily practice.

You'll learn:

  • Daily strengthening movements for pregnancy and birth prep

  • Birth ball and peanut ball positions for labor, rest, and pushing

  • Comfort measures and labor coping strategies

  • Relaxation and breathing techniques

  • Advocacy tools to confidently navigate your care

  • Laboring and pushing positions that support progress and comfort

Research shows that parents who prepare for birth experience lower intervention rates, better outcomes, and a more satisfying birth experience. This hands-on class equips you with practical skills, evidence-based knowledge, and confidence — all while connecting with a supportive community of other expectant parents.

Please bring an inflated ball, a yoga mat, water, a snack if needed and a pen for note taking! See infographic to left for helpful information on ball size.
