New Parent Classes & Services

Welcoming a new baby is a joyful and transformative experience—and it can also feel overwhelming at times. Our program of classes for new parents is designed to offer connection, guidance, and encouragement during this tender stage. With a focus on community and building confidence, each class offers practical tools to help you navigate early parenthood in a fun, welcoming environment. Our program provides a nurturing space for both you and your little one to grow.

    Infant Massage

    Discover the benefits of infant massage. This educational service teaches parents and caregivers how to use infant massage to promote relaxation, better sleep, and overall well-being for their baby. Gain the skills and confidence to incorporate this soothing practice into your daily routine and strengthen your bond with your baby.

    Best for: Parents and babies up to age four months 

    Prerequisites: None! 

    Suggested time frame: Newborn to four months

    TummyTime!™ Method

    The TummyTime!™ Method is an evidenced informed therapeutic program designed to support health, posture, movement, and connection for parents and babies, newborn to pre-crawling. Learn more about how to interact with your baby through their developmental stages.

    Best for: Parents and babies up to age five months 

    Prerequisites: None! 

    Suggested time frame: One month to pre-crawling (approximately 3-5 months)

  • Bill White of Happy Baby Signs teaching Intro to Baby Sign Language class in San Jose, CA.

    Baby Sign Language

    Our introductory workshop introduces more than 20 signs that are based on American Sign Language (ASL). Learn even more signs in our 6-week series. Jump-start your child’s verbal skills by learning about the latest research and all the tools to teach your baby to sign—through fun activities and songs.

    Best for: All caregivers who would like to introduce signs to their babies: moms, dads, grandparents, aunties, and nannies are welcome. Babies are welcome, but playful instruction is aimed at adults.

    Prerequisites: None!

    Suggested time frame: Up to 18 months. Pregnant people are also welcome.

    Fee for Intro: $59 per person, additional family members can join for just $20 each

    Fee for series: $169 per person, additional family members are $50 each

  • Private Flange Fitting

    Thirty minute private flange fitting and pumping support for new moms with Janet Dombro, an IBCLC with over 20 years of experience and knowledge . Please bring your pump, bottles, tubes, and all parts you currently have.

    Janet will help pumping moms try multiple sizes of flanges, cushions, and inserts to evaluate which “FITS” best. We look at Feel, Intensity, Tempo, Supply.

    Best For: Pumping Parents during the first year postpartum, who are concerned that their flanges are not fitting properly anymore.
