Learn non-pharmaceutical pain management techniques that can be used in any birth setting: home, hospital, or birth center in this interactive and fun 3-hour workshop.

We’ll explore proven techniques that not only reduce pain but give you and your birthing partner the confidence to handle the intensity of labor:

  • breathwork

  • massage

  • labor props (e.g. peanut and exercise balls)

  • aromatherapy

  • vocalization

  • position practice

  • hydrotherapy

  • and more…

This workshop is ideal for those leaning towards a low-intervention vaginal birth or who want to feel confident with early coping strategies before getting pain medications as well as the ideal time to go to the birth location. It’s also a perfect addition to any previous childbirth education class and is a wonderful refresher for families birthing again.

Suggested Prerequisite: Birthing 101, or another comprehensive birth class, or having given birth before
