ABOUT
I am a certified Postpartum Doula (DONA) and a Breastfeeding Counselor and Educator (CAPPA).
In my work, I support families at their home during the day and serve as an Educator with Sutter Health, where I instruct Newborn Care and Breastfeeding classes and facilitate weekly support groups. Additionally, I volunteer with Nursing Mothers Counsel.
I specialize in guiding families through the transition after their newborn's arrival, providing evidence-based information and up-to-date training in infant care, breastfeeding, and newborn behavior.
My support and education include:
- Infant feeding (breastfeeding and/or bottle feeding)
- Newborn care and sleep
- Emotional and physical recovery from birth
- Family-baby bonding
- Infant soothing techniques
- Light household assistance
